Sterile 10% PVP-I Saturated Swabsticks Single. Aplicare’s Saturated Swabsticks are packaged in easy open, single-use foil-laminated pouches. Each packet contains a fully saturated 4″ swabstick. We have taken the extra step of terminally sterilizing the contents of each package, thus ensuring the safest possible product for the patient. These swabsticks are conveniently packaged 10 boxes of 50 single swabsticks per case. Containing 10% Povidone Iodine Solution, these products have broad-spectrum germicidal action. Povidone Iodine is proven to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, and yeast. The golden brown protective film formed by the solution when air-dried delineates the treated area and provides protection from contamination. It is virtually non-irritating to skin, wounds or mucous membranes. It is virtually non-staining to skin or natural fabrics. Terminally sterilized as the final step in production, both the solution and the applicator are sterile assuring a contamination free product.
